Get Involved

Community members have been involved throughout the development of the TSP by participating in meetings of the Transportation Community Resource Group, learning about the TSP at a neighborhood or civic group meeting, or talking to staff at events around the City.

We are now in the final phase of the Eugene 2035 TSP adoption process which included two public hearings before both the City Council and Lane County Board of Commissioners, and potential adoption by both the City Council and Board of County Commissioners. A City Council work session was held on February 27, 2017. The first joint public hearing was held on March 6, 2017 and the second was held on April 17, 2017. The webcasts from both the work session and public hearings can be found at: http://eugene.ompnetwork.org. Subsequently, a City Council work session was held on Wednesday, May 31. The webcast and materials for the work session can be found here. The City Council is scheduled to take action to adopt the Eugene 2035 TSP on Monday, June 26 at its 7:30 PM meeting. The Lane County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to hold its first post-public hearing work session on the Eugene 2035 TSP on July 11 at 10 AM.
The City of Eugene and Lane County comply with state and federal laws and regulations relating to discrimination, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).  Meeting locations are wheelchair accessible. For the hearing impaired, an interpreter can be provided with 48 hours’ notice prior to the meeting. Spanish-language interpretation will also be provided with 48 hours’ notice. To arrange for these services, contact the receptionist at 541-682-5010. City Council meetings are telecast live on Metro Television, Comcast channel 21 and rebroadcast later in the week.
