Welcome to the regional transportation system planning website prepared by the Central Lane MPO.

Regional Transportation System Planning includes policies, projects, and strategies that guide regionally significant transportation investments within the Central Lane MPO. The effort will help put into practice policies and actions to address the future needs of a growing population, while improving safety and efficiency.

The project will involve the communities of Coburg, Eugene, and Springfield, including citizens, staff and elected officials. It will also involve Lane Transit District (LTD), point2point Solutions (p2p), Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Lane County, and Lane Council of Governments (LCOG).

YOUR INPUT AND INVOLVEMENT IS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED, so get involved with the project by adding your name to our stakeholder list, providing input on our interactive Input Map, or by sending us your ideas and comments.

Our job will be to coordinate with the transportation planning efforts of our local partners to craft an innovative set of policies, goals, and objectives that will link land use and transportation decisions to promote sustainability and use public funding responsibly. All transportation modes will be considered and included--from cars, transit, bikes, and pedestrians--to the freight movement and regional aspects of air, rail, and inter-city bus or EmX service (local bus rapid transit).
